Author Guideline

The Indonesian Journal of Education and Science welcomes contributions that advance knowledge in education and science. We prioritize original research articles, literature reviews, and case studies. To ensure a seamless submission process, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. General Requirements
  2. Manuscripts should be original, not previously published, and not under review by other journals.
  3. All submissions should contribute to the fields of education or science and align with the journal’s scope and objectives.
  4. Manuscripts must be in English, Indonesia, or Arabic using clear and concise language. Authors are encouraged to seek professional editing if necessary.
  5. Manuscript Structure
  6. Title: Concise, informative, and no more than 15 words.
  7. Abstract: A clear summary of the study’s objectives, methodology, results, and conclusion within 150–250 words.
  8. Keywords: 3–5 keywords that represent the manuscript’s content and research focus.
  9. Introduction: Introduce the background, objectives, and significance of the study. Clearly state the research question or hypothesis.
  10. Methods: Describe the research design, participants, data collection, and analysis methods in detail.
  11. Results: Present findings in a structured manner with relevant data and statistical analysis, if applicable.
  12. Discussion: Interpret the findings, relate them to existing literature, and outline the study's contributions.
  13. Conclusion: Summarize key points and implications of the research.
  14. References: Use APA style for citations and references, ensuring that all sources are accurate and current.
  15. Formatting Guidelines
  16. Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format
  17. Use a standard font (Garamond, 12-point) with 1,15 line spacing throughout the manuscript.
  18. Margins should be set to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides, and pages must be numbered.
  19. Figures, tables, and images should be clear, numbered, and include descriptive titles. All graphics should be embedded within the manuscript text.
  20. Submission Process
  21. Submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system. New users should register before submission.
  22. During submission, authors are required to provide an author declaration form, stating that the work is original and has no conflicts of interest.

 

  1. Peer Review Process

    All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review. Authors should ensure that no identifying information is present in the main manuscript to maintain anonymity.

    The review process may take 4–8 weeks. Authors will receive feedback and may be required to make revisions.

  1. Ethics and Copyright

    Authors must comply with ethical guidelines for research and publication. Any work involving human or animal subjects must include ethics approval.

    Upon acceptance, authors agree to transfer copyright to the Indonesian Journal of Education and Science. The journal holds the rights for reproduction, distribution, and publication.

  1. Proofs and Publication
  2. Authors will receive proofs for final review before publication. Corrections should be limited to typographical errors and essential revisions only.
  3. Accepted articles are published in the forthcoming issue and made available online.
