Peer Review process
Peer Review Process for JIRS: Journal of Islamic Religious Studies
JIRS: Journal of Islamic Religious Studies employs a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and academic integrity of the manuscripts it publishes. Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes a thorough evaluation by expert reviewers who are knowledgeable in the relevant field of Islamic religious studies. The peer review process is double-blind, ensuring the anonymity of both the authors and the reviewers. Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, relevance, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field. They provide constructive feedback and recommendations to the authors to improve the quality of their work.
After receiving the reviewers' comments, the editorial board makes a decision on the manuscript, taking into account the reviewers' evaluations, as well as the overall quality and relevance of the submission. Authors are notified of the decision, and if necessary, they may be asked to revise their manuscript based on the reviewers' feedback.
JIRS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing and relies on the expertise of its reviewers to uphold these standards. The peer review process ensures that only high-quality research that significantly contributes to the advancement of knowledge in Islamic religious studies is published in the journal.
