Thank you for considering JIRS: Journal of Islamic Religious Studies as a venue for your scholarly work. To ensure a smooth submission process and the highest quality of published articles, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Originality and Scope: JIRS publishes original research, critical reviews, theoretical discussions, and methodological inquiries related to Islamic religious studies. Submissions should contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in this field.
Formatting: Manuscripts should be prepared according to the guidelines provided by JIRS. Please ensure consistency in formatting, including font style, size, line spacing, and referencing style.
Length: Manuscripts should typically range between 5000 to 8000 words, excluding references, tables, and figures. Longer manuscripts may be considered at the discretion of the editorial team.
Title Page: The title page should include the title of the manuscript, the names and affiliations of all authors, corresponding author's contact information including email address, and any acknowledgments.
Abstract and Keywords: A structured abstract of no more than 250 words should accompany the manuscript, summarizing the purpose, methodology, results, and conclusions of the study. Keywords (3-5) should also be provided.
Manuscript Structure: Manuscripts should be organized into sections such as Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References. Subheadings within these sections can be used to improve clarity.
Figures and Tables: Figures and tables should be clear, well-labeled, and relevant to the content of the manuscript. They should be numbered consecutively and cited within the text.
References: All sources cited in the manuscript should be included in the reference list, and vice versa. References should follow a consistent citation style as specified in the author guidelines.
Ethical Considerations: Authors should ensure that their research complies with ethical standards, including obtaining necessary approvals for research involving human participants or animals.
Submission Process: Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online submission system of JIRS. Authors are encouraged to carefully follow the submission guidelines provided on the journal's website.
Review Process: Submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality and relevance to the journal's scope. Authors can expect timely feedback from reviewers and editors.
Copyright: Authors retain copyright of their work published in JIRS but are required to grant the journal the right of first publication.
